During the summer, Dr Fernando Hernández-Hernández, research member from Esbrina Recerca of the Spanish team, participated as a keynote speaker. The conference organized by a public program of Barcelona reflects and puts in practice artistic methods and artistic thinking in public school sites of the city.

The presentation made explicit the need to talk and think about the curriculum from a decolonial perspective and how the arts collaborate with this purpose. This is one of the main focuses of the EXPECT_Art project and we are looking forward to start exploring it with students and community members in the next months.
