At Drassanes, school in Barcelona that is participating in the fieldwork of the EXPECT_Art project, the school year begins with an artistic action that embodies commitment to inclusivity. It’s an opportunity for the teachers to reconnect and for the newcomers to be warmly included, fostering a sense of belonging for all. This action, starting in a cultural institution and culminating at the school, is a visual representation of the diverse perspectives that enrich school community. Every afternoon, the pupils are divided into different workshops. One of them revolved around the work of the painter Antoni Tàpies, whose centenary is being celebrated this year.
