EXPECT_Art team recently gathered in Budapest for our first international conference “Community-Based Research, Decolonial Theory and Education.” The event was an amazing opportunity to reflect on our progress, exchange perspectives, and deepen our understanding of fieldwork challenges. We explored new ideas and strengthened our commitment to community-based and decolonial approaches in research, art and education. Most importantly, we gained valuable insights that will guide our research and art-based activities in the coming months—especially in our shared mission to promote critical cultural literacy across Europe.
