At the beginning of June, the Slovenian scientific partner Science and Research Centre Koper hosted the consortium meeting of our project. Researchers, artists, and practitioners from Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Slovenia, and Spain came together to discuss the project’s progress, exchange knowledge, and plan the next stages of collaboration.

Reflecting the project’s strong connection to arts and culture, the meeting also included a rich cultural programme. Participants attended the Kino Otok (Isola Cinema) International Film Festival, where they watched the Spanish film Stories from the Good Valley, took part in a workshop on knitting “ugly scarves” at 2. Skica, and visited the Koper Youth Centre to learn more about its diverse activities and community engagement.

Our consortium greatly appreciated Koper’s welcoming atmosphere, vibrant cultural scene, excellent local cuisine, and beautiful early summer weather. .
