Are you a master student (or are you going to be a master student in the Fall of 2025) and would you like to join the EXPECT_Art summer school?
The summer school is on cultural literacy in education with a focus on decolonizing the curriculum in arts education, education through arts and uses of arts in education. The aim is to view cultural literacy critically from the perspective of a diverse society and understand literacy with a focus on the cultural and artistic expressions of minoritized and marginalized youth. The programme will explore the potential for a critical cultural literacy in different formats in a mutual sharing of experiences between participants, the course instructors and experts. The focus on critical cultural literacy, decolonization and (arts) education will be reflected in the format of the summer school, combining lectures, workshops and excursions in different forms.
Date: August : 8-14, 2025 (August 8 is day arrival and August 14 is day of departure)

Venue for accommodation and summer school activities: The International Youth Meeting Centre in Krzyżowa, Poland.

The summer school is funded by the European Commission via the EXPECT_Art project and is free of charge, which includes accommodation, outings and most meals.
